Details
The raw berthierite stone displays a fascinating, metallic, shimmering steel-gray structure, often covered with iridescent color reflections. Its natural, unpolished formation preserves the archaic character of this rare mineral—perfect as a powerful collector's item, energetic room accent, or display piece in your home. A special treatment with metals such as platinum or titanium creates the iridescent aura surface.
💎 Origin:
Berthierite occurs in low- to medium-temperature hydrothermal deposits, usually together with quartz, barite, and stibnite. It is known from classic localities such as France, Romania (Herja) , as well as in South Africa, Canada, the USA , and Australia.
🌍 General origin:
Berthierite is a sulfosalt of iron and antimony (FeSb₂S₄) formed in hydrothermal veins. Crystals are usually elongated or fibrous, with a metallic luster and a Mohs hardness of 2–3, making them easily shockable. In the open air, it can become iridescent and tarnish brown.
🔮 Effect of Berthierite:
It is considered a grounding and stability stone , supporting emotional balance, family harmony, and clarity. It is also said to stimulate concentration and creativity and transform negative energies—a powerful companion for everyday life.
♑ Matching zodiac signs:
Capricorn, Virgo, Aries
🌀 Associated chakras:
- Root chakra (Muladhara): grounding, security, strength
-
Sacral & solar plexus chakra: emotional balance, self-confidence
Berthierite has a strengthening effect on lower chakras – ideal for stabilization and support during life changes.
🌞 Care instructions:
Gently clean the stone with a soft cloth or by burning incense. Moonlight supports the energetic cleansing. Since berthierite is soft, you should treat it with care, avoiding direct sunlight and water—this will preserve its metallic shimmer.

Each rough stone is unique —individual in shape, density of crystal needles, color reflections, and size. Each piece carries its own geological history.
